Las nominaciones al Óscar 2021 llegaron este año de la mano de la actriz y productora Priyanka Chopra Jonas (‘El Tigre blanco’) y su esposo, el cantante, compositor y actor Nick Jonas (‘Kingdom’).

Entre los nominados este año por la Academia de las Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas de los Estados Unidos de América, Mank recibió la mayor cantidad de nominaciones con 10, incluidas nominaciones en las categorías de Mejor película, Actor protagónico y Dirección. Otros nominados al Oscar 2021 con múltiples nominaciones incluyen The Father, Judas and the Black Messiah, Minari, Nomadland, Sound of Metal y The Trial of the Chicago 7 con seis nominaciones cada uno.
